Commercial Cookery

Using discretion and judgement, they work with some independence and under limited supervision using plans, policies, and procedures to guide work activities.  Cookery course will equip you with skills and knowledge that can only be acquired through a combination of fantastic face-to-face classes and hands-on, practical experience. 

This course allows students to develop their skills in patisserie through a range of practical and effective classes. The skills and knowledge acquired from this course span across all aspects of patisserie expertise: from artisan techniques of sugar and chocolate, to cake decorating, to producing desserts and modern gateaux. This course will prepare students for entry into the highly competitive patisserie industry and allow them to gain essential specialised knowledge and techniques that are required for industry standard pastry chefs.
